Burned out from working in the corporate world for 12 years, Bea Murphy felt she was being pulled too thin. “I decided to give real estate a try and my only regret is not doing it sooner,” she shares.
She was able to combine her marketing degree from Bentley University, her 12 years working in corporate and her own personal touch to launch a very successful business in real estate, all while still being true to her core values.
Now a Realtor with Lamacchia Realty, Murphy has been in the industry since 2017, assisting clients with single-family homes, condos and multi-family residences. A current resident of Hanover, she grew up in Weymouth, so she is very familiar with the South Shore. “I’ve sold everywhere from the North Shore, South Shore and Metro West to The Cape, South Coast and Rhode Island,” she explains.
Named Top Agent by Lamacchia Realty for most transactions and highest volume in Braintree in 2024, Murphy has been a member of the President’s Club since 2019, recipient of the South Shore Realtors Spirit Award in 2022 and ranks 30th in Massachusetts for sales sides. She also became a published author in “Slaying Boston” in 2024. Serving as the Hanover Chamber of Commerce vice president, she has supported Bentley University alumni, local community groups in Hanover and the South Shore Realtor committee. She is currently planning Puck4ACure, a hockey fundraiser she created to support Type 1 diabetes, a disease that hits close to home with her son.
Known for being honest, dedicated and hardworking, Murphy is a very involved parent who is able to juggle parenting, running a successful business, giving back to her community and so much more. She says, “Doing what I love for work and also being a super-present mom is the ultimate win in life.”
