Allyson Kreycik is starting 2026 as the top-funding female loan originator in Rate’s history, with over $2.1 billion in origination in her 14 years at the company. “I think that being in this business for nearly a quarter of a century and seeing pretty much everything gives me a different perspective than someone just coming into the business,” Kreycik says. “I know when a loan is a good loan, and I know when to say, ‘No, this loan isn’t going to work’ or ‘This loan is better off going to another lender that has a better product.’”
Kreycik credits experience for helping her structure deals and have confidence in stressful situations. “Buying a home, especially in the Northeast, where housing prices are so high, can be very stressful, and I pride myself on helping people through it,” she remarks. Clients describe her as honest, transparent, available and accessible.
“I think that when people talk to me, they understand quickly that they can trust me and that I’m not one to just make a sale, but that I genuinely care for them,” Kreycik says. “I think character and integrity matters and people know I will always do the right thing. I have built my business on doing the right thing. My business partners trust that and know I’ll take care of their clients even if it means telling them to pay cash. I also believe that hard work counts. I grew up in the Midwest and early in my life learned the value of a hard-work ethic.”
Believing in giving back to the community, Kreycik serves as an executive member of the Rate Foundation board and as a member of the board of directors for the Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County.
