Few professions prepare someone for real estate quite like the restaurant business. Long before entering the industry, Jared Rowland built a career in restaurants across Massachusetts, developing a knack for reading people, multitasking under pressure and keeping situations moving smoothly. Those instincts now guide his work as a real estate agent with Lamacchia Realty, where he serves clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, with a particular focus on Worcester and Middlesex counties.
Rowland grew up in Virginia Beach before relocating to Massachusetts while working for The Cheesecake Factory. More than two decades in central Massachusetts gave him an everyday understanding of the communities he now represents. When the pandemic slowed the restaurant industry, he used the moment to pursue a career many colleagues had long encouraged him to try. The transition felt natural, offering the same relationship-driven work he enjoyed while allowing him to guide people through one of the most significant decisions of their lives.
Now more than four years into his real estate career, Rowland works with first-time homebuyers, investors, luxury clients and downsizers. Clients often describe him as approachable and honest, someone who communicates frequently and explains each step of the process so there are no surprises. During showings, he points out both the strengths and potential concerns of a property, believing that informed clients ultimately make better decisions. That philosophy has helped Rowland build a business driven largely by referrals, repeat clients and longtime personal connections. In 2025, RealTrends recognized him as a top agent, and Lamacchia Realty named him to its President’s Club.
Rowland enjoys boating on Lake Winnipesaukee with his partner, Josh, and his three dogs. He also enjoys cruising; traveling through Europe; and seeking out new places, cultures and experiences.
