After graduating from college and without a clear next step, Sean Goudreau took a chance on a career in lending. With a business degree in finance and economics, he landed a job at a small mortgage company. He was determined to make the most of the opportunity.
“I didn’t have any other options and was living with my parents at the time,” Goudreau recalls. “I had a finance background, but I was intrigued by the idea of having no limits. Those who put in the time do well, and you’re able to really help people.”
Since that time, Goudreau’s internal motivation has never faded. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a results-driven mortgage professional who simplifies the lending process for his clients. Known for his direct communication and ability to close loans in two weeks, he ensures every borrower understands their options.
Goudreau’s business has grown 150% year over year, a testament to his resilience. He has been recognized with industry honors, including receiving the Young Gun of the Year Award at Mortgage Professional America’s Power Originator Summit in 2019 and being inducted into the Rate President’s Club for the past 10 years.
Goudreau’s tenacity and perseverance carry into his personal life as well. He always seeks out new challenges, such as completing back-to-back marathon-length races. He uses fitness as his healthy outlet, consistently setting new goals for himself and pushing his limits. His commitment to his clients and industry partners is just as strong, and the real estate world is fortunate to have him among its ranks.
