For five years in a row, Greg Giokas has been named among the top 1% of originators in the country by Mortgage Executive Magazine.
His other achievements include being recognized as a Distinguished Mortgage Professional by the Expert Network and being named the Affiliate Member of the Year in 2011 by the Greater Boston Association of Realtors. Top Agent Magazine also featured him as a premier loan officer in 2016, and in 2021 he was named among the top 200 loan originators in America by Scotsman Guide.
A member of the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce, Giokas has worked in the mortgage lending industry for 22 years. He typically serves first-time homebuyers, vacation homebuyers and empty nesters. Accessible to clients, he never takes for granted that a home is their most-important purchase. “When working with clients, I always subscribe to the following mantra: Communication, dedication and appreciation,” he says. “Clear and concise communication with my clients and business partners; dedication to my work and to my clients; and appreciation for the opportunity to provide a fulfilling service to my clients.”
A musician, Giokas plays the drums to relieve stress. He also practices yoga and participates in CrossFit training. He enjoys spending time with his two daughters; his puppy, Milo; and his wife, Fenia. The family enjoys skiing and traveling together.
While team members often go underappreciated and unnoticed in the real estate industry, Giokas would like to share his appreciation for his team members: Mitch Devlin, Gary D’entremont and Katy Schmier. “It takes all of us collectively to ensure that we are servicing our business partners and clients to the highest standard,” Giokas says. “My success is their success.”
