Gene Orloff, Broker

Sotheby’s International Realty

Deeply rooted in Cape Cod’s culture and community, Gene Orloff is integral to the region’s real estate landscape. “This is a special place and each of us who live here know it’s a privilege and a responsibility to protect it for the next generation,” says Orloff, a broker with Sotheby’s International Realty.

Specializing in luxury and waterfront homes, Orloff has three decades of real estate experience. With clients who have stayed with her from day one, she has developed lasting friendships and has often been referred to their friends and families.

A former teacher in Connecticut, Orloff worked with students to identify and adapt to their unique learning styles. “Teaching taught me that listening is the most important part of any relationship,” she says. “I apply that lesson and focus on getting to know my client’s goals and dreams, before helping them navigate the real estate market, whether buying or selling.”

Orloff was named among the Top 5% of Cape Cod Agents in 2021 and 2022 by Sotheby’s. She is a trusted advisor with a valuable referral network of agents and tradespeople who are ready and able to jump in when needed, all making for smooth and successful transactions.

Her international connections are cultivated through a love for travel and the arts. A recent trip to Paris was an exciting learning experience and a highlight in 2022.

Orloff enjoys volunteering at The Blue Hill Observatory in Milton. As a member of the development committee, she helps raise funds for this historic landmark and the climate education programs designed for students in the Greater Boston area.

She and her husband, Charles, are the proud parents of two daughters and two granddaughters who love their summers by the sea.

Orloff lives and values this magical Cape Cod lifestyle and excels at sharing it with her clients.
