"Boston has the energy of a big city but the heart of a small town. The relationships you build here are what make it special." -Biana Xherimeja, Keller Williams Realty Boston Northwest.

What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was a stylist and salon owner.

Where did you grow up?
I was born in Albania and moved to the U.S. at age 10. Since then, Woburn, Massachusetts has been home.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
I’ve always been a great listener, so I thought I’d become a therapist. I’ve always loved helping people feel heard and understood.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I spend time with my kids, go to the gym and try new restaurants. Being active and having a little time to myself helps me reset.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Dr. Phil. I’ve always admired how he understands human behavior and helps people navigate life’s challenges. I’d love to sit down and learn from his perspective.

What is Boston’s best-kept secret?
The people. Boston has the energy of a big city but the heart of a small town. The relationships you build here are what make it special.

What do you love most about the industry?
I love helping people feel confident. Whether it’s through beauty or real estate, it’s rewarding to build lasting relationships and be part of meaningful moments in people’s lives.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I focus on relationships over transactions. My clients know they’ll always get honesty, clear communication, and someone who truly listens. I treat every client the way I’d want my own family to be treated.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Giving 100% to every goal I set has been my greatest accomplishment. Becoming a homeowner, building a successful business and raising two incredible children are milestones I’m deeply proud of. But seeing my kids watch me achieve those goals and showing them that with hard work, anything is possible has made me feel the most successful.

What’s your favorite meal in Boston?
I’m a steakhouse person. You can never go wrong with a great steak.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Albania. Going back to my home country always feels special. It’s where my roots are, and I enjoy spending time with my family and savoring the beautiful coastline.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Stay consistent, build relationships, and never stop learning.
