For Rabiah Akar, seeing the joy and excitement on clients’ faces at the closing table is as thrilling now as it was at the start of her career more than 15 years ago.
An award-winning real estate consultant with William Raveis Real Estate, Akar grew up in New England and is a longtime resident of Newton. The knowledge she has gained living and working in Greater Boston allows her to guide clients through the marketplace with ease.
Before her current career, Akar excelled in the jewelry business, working with prestigious brands such as David Yurman and Alexis Bittar. Such experiences taught her the importance of trust, discretion and long-term client relationships — skills that translated to real estate. Many close relationships she built in the jewelry industry have carried over into her real estate career as well.

In her personal life, Akar prioritizes balance, mindfulness and helping others. To stay grounded and present, she practices daily meditation and yoga.
