Empathy and clarity shape Natalia Berbesi’s approach to mortgage lending, turning what can be a stressful process into one grounded in confidence and trust. As a vice president of mortgage loans with Rate, she works closely with first-time buyers, young professionals and immigrant families, many of whom are navigating the U.S. homebuying process for the first time.
With eight years in the industry, Berbesi specializes in first-time homebuyer programs, FHA loans, bond programs and refinances. Clients describe her as patient, approachable and fully invested, noting that she takes the time to explain each step, answer every question and ensure they feel informed before making decisions. She treats every transaction with the same care and urgency she would bring to her own home purchase.
At the core of Berbesi’s work is her faith. She credits God for providing guidance, resilience and abundance in both her life and business. In high-pressure moments, she leads with prayer, transparency and a belief that there is always a solution. Her success, she says, is not hers alone but it is a reflection of trust in God’s provision and timing.
In the past year, Berbesi earned recognition from the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, ranking among the Top 250 loan officers in the country, No. 8 in the Northeast and No. 127 overall. She also received Rate’s President’s Club recognition for a second consecutive year. Her proudest accomplishment of 2025, however, is having helped 95 families achieve homeownership as first-time buyers. During that time, she also expanded her amazing team and welcomed her daughter into the industry, working side by side.
Berbesi credits her success to empathy, clear communication and a steady belief in solutions, especially during high-pressure moments. She leads with transparency and invests emotionally in her clients so they feel supported throughout the process.
When away from the office, Berbesi prioritizes health and wellness through hiking, fitness, self-care and time spent reconnecting spiritually.
