With the personal tagline ‘Closing Loans and Opening Doors,’ Andrea Donnelly has 33 years of experience in the financial industry, holding senior roles at mutual fund firms, small hedge funds and community banks. “My extensive experience in the broader markets led me to take a more holistic approach when considering the needs of each individual borrower,” she explains. “It is beyond gratifying to help clients reach the next chapter in their lives.”
A senior mortgage planner with OnTo Mortgage, Donnelly credits her success to interpersonal relationships. “Relationships are the basis of success in everything we do in life, both personally and professionally,” she says. “I understand and prioritize the importance that trust plays in any size transaction.” Her approach focuses on learning the entire financial picture of the client, as well as educating them on the process, requirements and nuances of financing a home. “My borrowers walk away feeling empowered, confident in the knowledge that they are working with a trusted partner who will guide them through the entire process, from application to closing, and has their best interests top of mind,” she says, adding that she also empowers first-time homebuyers by taking the time to explain everything in as much detail as necessary.
A longtime resident of the North Shore of Boston, Donnelly is a member of The North Shore Chamber of Commerce, Local Professional Women’s Mastermind Group, Manchester/Essex Rotary and The Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.
Donnelly and her husband currently live on a five-acre farm in Essex and are the parents of two recent college graduates who live in Colorado. “I love doing anything outdoors,” she says. “We spend lots of time hiking, riding, boating, beaching and sitting around the firepit with friends and family.”
