Meet Kristen Karshis, the owner of Karshis & Co. Keller Williams Realty Chestnut Hill, who says that with the right technology and proper skills in analysis and research, she and her team can sell anywhere. To date, they’ve sold in over 65 different towns across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. From first-time buyers to luxury investors, Karshis and her team give every client the same level of care and detail.
Always drawn to real estate, Karshis loved HGTV as a kid. She bought her first home at the age of 22 and bought her first investment property after the birth of her twins in 2016. Shortly after, she took a real estate class and fell in love with the possibilities the industry offered. “Every day is different and exciting,” she says.
Karshis has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work, and worked at a nonprofit prior to earning her license. She also coached cheerleading and worked as a bartender for a decade. While she’s had an interesting array of former careers, Karshis says each and every job molded her into the Realtor she is today. She attributes much of her success to the sales, coaching, managerial and service-oriented experience she gained in her past professions.
Named Rookie of the Year at Keller Williams Chestnut Hill in 2019, Karshis calls herself and her team a “relentless bunch.” “We believe in lifelong learning and staying ahead of the curve,” she says. “We are passionate about meeting our clients’ goals and put our full weight behind getting it done for them,” she shares. “It’s unrealistic to say everything is smooth—if it was, our industry wouldn’t be needed. But we know how to handle those moments well.”
