Senior Loan Officer
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.
Doing more with less is one of mortgage professional Harry Ogden’s specialties. “Many homebuyers today come to me with the same challenge,” Ogden says. “They need help purchasing a home with limited funds in an expensive market.” Fortunately for Ogden’s clients, he has ample experience in helping people achieve this goal.
A mortgage industry veteran, Ogden has been in the business for 30 years. He was a member of the founding board of directors for the Massachusetts Mortgage Brokers Association. Last year, he joined Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. as a senior loan officer, maintaining his office in Lynnfield. Already, he has distinguished himself as one of the top-producing loan originators in the company.
From first-time homebuyers to move-up purchasers to real estate investors, Ogden’s customers come from all walks of life. “Every client and situation is unique,” Ogden says. Because of this, he eschews one-size-fits-all approaches and instead evaluates and advises each borrower based on their individual needs, goals and situation.
Ogden believes in showing rather than telling when it comes to guiding his clients through the mortgage process. “I provide advice and make recommendations, and the client makes the decisions,” he says. People seem to think highly of this approach. The testimonials Ogden receives from past borrowers often praise his communication, knowledge and service and report a smooth and easy financing process.
True to his client-centric outlook, Ogden doesn’t measure his achievements in dollars, titles or awards. “My favorite part of the job is the smiles when my clients close on their new homes,” he says. “Every closing is truly a success story.”
As a new mortgage market begins to emerge, Ogden looks forward to continued success offering his tried-and-true style of service and expertise.
