As a senior loan officer and branch manager at Guaranteed Rate, Bryan Brown takes an educational approach to the lending process, mentoring and guiding all buyers through every available option in order to help them choose the most appropriate loan. Working with buyers from a variety of locations and in a wide array of financial situations, Brown is well versed in jumbo loans and specializes in assisting both first-time homebuyers and growing families looking for a larger home.
“I am inspired most by helping my clients close on their dream home,” he says, adding that he helped around 200 families close or refinance during the past year, thanks in part to his team’s proactive nature and efficiency. “We typically get purchase contracts with commitment and closing dates that are rapidly approaching,” he explains. “So we collect as much documentation from the client during the pre-approval process as possible when we are not yet on a clock.”
Prior to entering real estate 16 years ago, Brown received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University. He has since served as a president of BNI and an executive board member of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce.
In the past few years, he and his wife celebrated their six-year anniversary and welcomed their third child into the family. “When I stop and look at it, it’s amazing what we have accomplished as a couple in such a short period of time,” he says, adding that they, along with his team at work, are a constant source of motivation and inspiration. “Both push, challenge and support me in different ways, and without them I would not have realized the success I have,” he says.
