The Wilson Group at Keller Williams Realty
As a college senior, Mian LaVallee realized real estate was her passion after helping her parents through the process of building a new home. After the closing, LaVallee, senior partner at The Wilson Group at Keller Williams Realty, went to work for the builder and the rest is history.
LaVallee assists first-time, move-up and high-end homebuyers and sellers in the Greater Boston area. From Southie to Southborough, she specializes in the simultaneous buy-sell process for homeowners who don’t know how to do either. “We shout our listings from every single mountaintop possible — social media, word of mouth, snail mail and networking — because you never know who is looking,” she says.
LaVallee is on track to outpace last year’s total sales volume of $41 million, even with fewer clients. “It means more tailored time with each client, but it’s my preference,” she says. “As a result, they end up getting into a nicer home that makes for a great transaction all around.”
Volume aside, the real feat has been outpacing last year’s revenue while taking more time off than she ever has before, chaperoning her children’s field trips, volunteering at her son’s preschool and arriving home by 6 p.m. more often. LaVallee attributes this newfound balance to being backed by an incredible team.
A member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, Women’s Council of Realtors, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and Boston Business Women, LaVallee has earned several awards for her sales performance throughout her 14-plus years in the industry.
Clients are amazed LaVallee, a busy mom of three, is always working. “I’m a doer, not a wisher,” she says. “If you want to get things done, come see me.” In her free time, LaVallee loves drinking rosé, rooting her kids on at sporting events and running.
