While attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Josh Muncey took a job with a property management company and soon learned that real estate was his passion.
Muncey, team leader of The Muncey Group at RE/MAX Destiny, has spent his entire professional career in the industry. His firm primarily focuses on the neighborhoods of Jamaica Plain, Roslindale and West Roxbury, assisting clients at all price points. “We know these neighborhoods like the back of our hand,” he says. “That provides a lot of value to clients, regardless of their budgets or goals.”
Empowering his team to reach great heights in sales, Muncey is proud to see them providing excellent customer service to clients and becoming successful in their careers. He founded The Muncey Group because he believes in a streamlined, client-centered real estate experience. “In our first full year, we ranked No. 2 among all RE/MAX teams in New England,” he says. “We got there by building a culture of trust, respect and responsiveness. We love our jobs and respect the incredibly important role each member of our team plays.”
Regardless of how many homes he sells or the number of buyers he works with, Muncey never loses sight of the fact that purchasing a home is one of the biggest financial events in a client’s life. “They have placed their trust in me to guide them through the process,” he says. “It is a humbling responsibility I never take lightly.”
Doing whatever it takes to market a client’s property, the team customizes its property websites utilizing video, drone photography and Matterport 3D walk-through tours.
Incredibly proud of his curious, kind, hilarious and brave daughters, Muncey’s most important accomplishment in life is being the dad his daughters always need him to be.
