Ashley K. Bernon
Director of Marketing and Client Relations
The Law Offices of Sonja B. Selami

Ashley K. Bernon joined the Law Offices of Sonja B. Selami as the director of marketing and client relations two years ago to raise the firm’s profile and grow its client base in the Greater Boston market. It has since been named the top real estate law firm on Modern Luxury’s Luxe List. Bernon was later instrumental in landing the firm’s largest closing — a client’s condo purchase in the new Four Seasons One Dalton Street luxury building.

“Our goal is to facilitate real estate transactions for buyers or sellers who require legal assistance to complete a closing,” Bernon said. “Simultaneously, I am responsible for helping to position our law office as the ‘go-to’ firm to seamlessly execute all types of real estate transactions.” Fluent in Spanish, she works closely with Hispanic clients, assisting lawyers with their closings and helping listing brokers position their properties.

Earning her real estate license at 19, the New Orleans native combines her passions for fashion and philanthropy to host, plan or sponsor fashion-related charity events for numerous causes. They include women’s health initiatives at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; the Berkshire Hills Music Academy, which serves youngsters with cognitive disabilities; the Breast Cancer Research Foundation; and the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge bikeathon, which funds cancer research and treatment and is co-sponsored by the Red Sox Foundation.

Bernon once worked as Vogue magazine’s Boston ambassador as part of The Vogue Vanguard project. It featured the most influential people in fashion under 45. She also helps Vogue identify real estate and charity partners for events she hosts each season and presents two to three fashion launches a year.

A mother of two, Bernon completed the 2017 Boston Marathon despite having never run a long-distance race. She also competed in the Pan-Mass Challenge in 2018 and 2019.
