Since getting her license in 2014, Mia Parsons, real estate agent at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, has been steadily helping other clients navigate everything from their first purchase to the luxury market.
A proud New Englander with a long family history in the area, Parson’s generations-worth of knowledge she brings to her clients’ aid in each transaction at Douglas Elliman helps make her a valued asset to people looking to buy in Massachusetts.
“I love to help people make the biggest decision of their life but without the pressure, with educated coaching and with a smile. I am a natural caregiver,” she says.
A life-long admirer of great architecture and design, Parsons was naturally drawn to the real estate industry. Thanks to her previous career in fashion and hospitality, she is an expert in everything related to customer service and satisfaction, which she says is always being built upon. “With each experience, I gain so much perspective and education to help my next clients better,” she says.
An accomplished real estate agent, Parsons has received numerous awards and recognitions for her hard work, including the 2021 Douglas Elliman President’s Circle Award, which is given to the top 16% of agents nationwide. Recently, she also expanded her team to the East Coast, and expanded her business into the Vermont market where she was born and raised.
Philanthropy also plays a major role in Parsons’ life. She and her family run Zack’s Place, a community program that seeks to provide free and accessible settings for people of all ages with special needs to explore art and other programs. “My middle brother, Zack, had cerebral palsy and he was the light of my life,” she says. “He passed away in 2012 but his strength, his smile and his legacy lives on.”
