Mian LaVallee, Senior Partner, The Wilson Group

Keller Williams Chestnut Hill

Senior Partner Mian LaVallee used 2022 to up her game in nearly every way—from improving business’ tech tools, and incorporating innovations like virtual tours and drone footage, to meeting her clients where they are, which is mainly on social media.

A transplant to the Boston area more than 10 years ago, LaVallee says, “I had to learn the various parts of Boston the hard way, as I didn’t grow up here. I went to each town and spent hours looking at my favorite streets, creating lists of my favorite parts and scouring the best undercover sections of towns that my clients were gravitating towards.” By the end of LaVallee’s first year in Boston, she knew the markets from Marshfield and Weston like the back of her hand.

LaVallee is a member of a variety of professional groups like Boston Business Women and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. She says membership in organizations like these help her stay invested in her community, increase her network and keep her business fun.

LaVallee’s clients have said that while she’s an expert negotiator and a patient explainer, she also at times seems like a mind reader because she finds just the right properties for them.

“My clients are hard to beat,” LaVallee says. “It’s easy for me to relate to them because they often want the same things I want: a great neighborhood, amazing schools and community, close proximity to Starbucks and Whole Foods, and a great investment.”

In addition to the numerous hats LaVallee wears during the buying-and-selling process, she is also a therapist, marriage counselor and sommelier—truly ready to help her clients through each step of the homebuying process, right down to the celebratory glass of wine at closing.
