Irene Bremis, Broker Associate, James J. Bremis Realty Inc.

by Stephanie Sims and Natalie Terchek

Number of years in real estate: 30-plus. I work for a family owned business and have done so since the tender age of 13. Real estate is in my blood.

Describe your look: A combination or a mixture of timeless, classic and nouveau chic. Sexy and conservative, feminine and classic. Every outfit, just like every home, takes on its own persona, reflecting lifestyle and character.

What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Pairing two over-indulgent pieces together. Rather than pairing a short skirt and a revealing top, I prefer to mix a long skirt with a sleeveless top or a short skirt and a long jacket. It’s a classier, more timeless look.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? My Dolce Gabbana black jacket. It’s a signature piece that can make any outfit bedazzled.

What do you consider a must have accessory? Jewelry. Specifically, pearls. I love them. They are a timeless look that can dress up any standard outfit from business casual to night time glam.

Where are your favorite places to shop? Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Barami and various high-end boutique consignments shops like J’Adore in Wakefield Center. Like many of my investors, I love quality without having to pay an inflated price.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? A smile goes a long way … but you can’t miss with the right accessories. I choose them depending on the outfit and occasion. Jewelry, shoes, wraps, stockings, scarves, whatever might be one small thing or the finishing touch to give the outfit that pop or pull the other pieces together.

What is in your bag/brief case? My signature pen with stylus and flashlight, iPad, iPhone, credit cards, cash, Estee Lauder perfume, lipstick, eyeliner and floss.

My closet is full of… Variety and color. Clothes are a reflection of our mood and personality. You can wear a power suit or a fun, flirty feminine skirt or dress and have each of them be appropriate for the time, occasion, property or showing.

What is your style advice for other people in the industry? Wear what emphasizes your best features and accurately represents your personality.

Please list the designer (or store) of each piece of clothing that you wore today, including accessories and shoes. Dress and jacket: Chico’s; Shoes: Bandolino; Purse: Jessica Simpson; Jewelry: Rada Boutique.
