My Style: Nick Warren, CEO, Warren Residential

by Emily Johnson, Taylor Johnson Public Rrelations

Nick Warren, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway- Warren Residential

Number of years in real estate: 10

Describe your look: I like to keep things simple. A great-fitting suit, crisp dress shirt, and a well-made pair of dress shoes does it for me. If it is the weekend, I tend to lean towards comfort. I love a good sweater or pullover paired with a pair of jeans.

What do you consider a fashion dont? The key to looking good in anything is having the right fit. A $500 suit that fits looks better than a $3000 suit that doesn’t.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? A good pair of jeans. I like the versatility and durability you get from them.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? I’m not that big into accessories. I don’t really wear watches or jewelry other than my wedding ring.

Where are your favorite places to shop?  If I’m looking for something casual and affordable, I shop at Bonobos. I also use Trunk Club once in awhile because I hate shopping. For suits and higher-end items, I rely on my buddy Marc Streisand’s store, Marc Allen. A friend of mine owns it and they make the best suits, shirts, jackets, etc.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? Whatever you are wearing should bring you confidence. That is your best accessory.

What is in your bag/brief case? My Google Chromebook, an old-school notebook that I pretend to write in so I look smart, and some business cards.

My closet is full ofPullovers.  I have an addiction to buying them every time I go golfing.  They aren’t the most fashionable item but they are a go-to for fall and spring golf.  They are also easy to throw on while I’m just kicking around the house over the weekend.

What is your style advice for other people in the industry? Be yourself but remain professional. Some people love suits; others love to show their personal style a little more. I’d suggest staying away from jeans and t-shirts. Remember that your clients are trusting you with one of the biggest decisions in their life. They want to work with someone who looks like they take their job seriously.
