Whether it’s new tactics to win multiple-offer situations or to sell a property for top dollar, Chuck Silverston and his team are always thinking of strategies to help clients navigate the Greater Boston market.

“We prepare buyers and sellers for the process, help identify their goals, make sure it fits into their financial plan and give them confidence that our team has their back,” says Silverston. He starts with an initial meeting to review how his team and process work, including questions to ask at showings. He encourages buyers to be prepared so they’re ready to hunt for deals. For sellers, he times photos, staging and property enhancements so the property’s ready when the time is right. In his 20 years of selling real estate, Silverston has learned that these strategies are key to successful outcomes. He’s developed an expertise in the “sell-buy,” simultaneously selling and buying, which requires different methods. Relationships and strategy define his work.

Before becoming an agent, Silverston worked in fine dining, perfect training for real estate. “At 7 on a Saturday night, you have one minute to solve a problem,” he notes. “In real estate, you have all day.”

A top-producing agent, with a growing team, Silverston is a Certified Full-Service Professional (CFSP) and is coached by Buffini & Company. He’s also a certified mentor. He’s a partner in Boston Property Care property management and owns the Paris Creperie & Bar Lunette in Brookline.

Silverston grew up in Lexington, graduated from George Washington University and has been a Brookline resident for over 30 years. He loves to travel and offer restaurant / bar recommendations. When not negotiating an offer, he might be found walking his dog, Fred, or attending a Boston sports game.
