After graduating from college, Bryan Brown was playing semipro football in Germany when a few of his friends started working at a mortgage company. “Their success was appealing, so I joined them,” he recounts. “Now, 23 years later, I’m still excited about my career.”
Now a branch manager and senior vice president of mortgage lending with Rate, Brown credits his success to his professionalism and perseverance. In 2023, when many others stopped hosting events to focus on self-preservation, he doubled down on his networking efforts. By 2024, he was one of Rate’s top 50 loan officers nationwide. As his business continued to grow last year, he added another experienced loan officer to his team, further enhancing service and production capabilities.
“I’m honored to say that 100% of my business is referral-based,” Brown shares. “This makes me conscious of the fact that by doing the right thing for each client, I’m doing my absolute best for my agent and advisor referral partners, as well as my previous clients.”
Consistently ranked among Guaranteed Rate’s top 1% of mortgage originators nationwide, Brown has maintained President’s Club status since 2012 and earned Rate’s Chairman’s Circle distinction in 2025. He is a member of the Hopkinton chapter of Business Network International, the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce and the Hopkinton Economic Development Committee. In addition, he is the Hopkinton Youth Football president and serves on the board of the Massachusetts Mortgage Brokers Association.
When he isn’t working, Brown enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He coaches his sons’ hockey and football teams, and he occasionally participates in Hyrox competitions.
