Drawn to a profession combining analytical problem-solving with opportunities to help clients achieve homeownership, Jason Evans began his mortgage lending career in 2005 after earning a finance degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Today, with over 20 years in the business, he has developed a reputation in the Greater Boston market for clarity, consistency and execution, especially when transactions become complex.
“In today’s environment, buyers and real estate agents need more than preapprovals,” Evans explains. “They need a lender who can move quickly, anticipate challenges and provide solutions when a deal doesn’t fit neatly inside the box.”
To this end, Evans offers a broad range of financing solutions, including non-qualified mortgage programs that are underwritten in-house, allowing more self-employed buyers, real estate investors and complex-income borrowers to secure financing successfully.
“Every buyer’s financial picture is different,” Evans shares. “Having flexible lending solutions under one roof allows us to structure loans that make sense without sacrificing speed or certainty.”
Over 90% of Evans’ business comes from referrals, reflecting his team’s communication, availability and accountability during every transaction. His national honors include 16 consecutive years of recognition on Scotsman Guide’s Top Originators list and a No. 5 ranking on Scotsman Guide’s Emerging Stars list in 2022. In addition, he is a seven-time member of the Rate President’s Club (2019–2025).
Outside of mortgage lending, Evans, a lifelong Boston sports fan, has coached his daughter’s basketball team to three state championships. He also enjoys spending summers on Cape Cod with his family.
