A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Boston agent Maura Cutting has earned the ranks of Chairman’s Circle Gold with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices every year since 2019, and in 2022, she achieved the Platinum rank. That distinction means she’s among the top 1% globally of all Berkshire Hathaway agents. Cutting is also a member of the Top Agent Network, an off-market network of the top 10% of agents in metro Boston. 

Cutting previously worked in international sales for 10 years before taking some time off to raise her children. When she re-entered the workforce, she needed a career that would allow her to flex her sales experience a little bit closer to home.

“When I bought my first home, I was extremely disappointed with the real estate agents we encountered,” Cutting recalls. “They would unlock the door and offer little to nothing else. Some didn’t even bother to lock the door as we left. It occurred to me that there was a real need for real estate agents who would work really hard, research and do anything and everything they could for a client.”

Cutting always goes the extra mile for her clients. She manages every detail, from organizing the staging of a home to creative social media campaigns to get the right buyers for a home. This successful concierge-care strategy has allowed her to sell every home she has ever listed. “Instinctively, I know what it takes to close a deal,” Cutting says. “It’s great to work hard and have people know you are knowledgeable, honest and responsive, but at the end of the day, people are trusting you with one of the biggest investments of their lives. They need someone who knows how to negotiate, close the deal and get the business done well.”
