Staying calm under pressure and doing everything they can to make transactions run smoothly is the way The Donahue Maley & Burns Team, Compass, conducts business. Not surprisingly, when the pandemic first hit, the team quickly adopted best practices to put sellers and buyers at ease about showings.

“Whether it was staggered appointments, booties, gloves and masks, we were able to implement a policy that assured sellers and provided access to buyers to get deals done, even when everything else felt like it was at a standstill,” says Amiee Munro, sales associate.

The team has more than 40 years of combined experience in real estate. Members work collaboratively, sharing best negotiation and property-marketing strategies based on their decades of experience in the industry. This detail-oriented approach, coupled with the latest innovative tools provided by Compass, allows them to best serve buyers and sellers, from first-time to luxury to empty-nester, in the Greater Boston and MetroWest regions.

All team members have lived or worked in the areas they serve, acquiring micro-market details that help clients target their search within neighborhoods and communities. They also have experience in related fields that benefits clients at the transaction table: Amy Weed worked as a corporate finance attorney and admissions director of a local independent school, Steve Connolly is a CPA and former commercial real estate consultant, Barbra Thomas has been involved with real estate development and has an extensive background in sales and marketing, and Nicole Connolly has over 10 years of sales experience in the commercial interiors industry.

“No two deals are the same,” Munro says. “But if we can anticipate potential issues and offer smart solutions, then we can reduce the level of stress on our clients.”
