Collin Bray
President of Sales
Century 21 Cityside

Collin Bray’s model for success is to harness his 12 years of industry experience to deliver for his clients on every transaction with grace and mastery.

“My clients are smart and value their time more than anything,” he says. As the president of sales at Century 21 Cityside, Bray works with real estate developers, sellers and buyers in Back Bay, South End, Beacon Hill and downtown Boston. “This is my life’s work and I show it,” he says, adding that his clients commend him for his professionalism, creativity and empathy, and they appreciate how he brings levity to the harder moments. “My business is very serious, but I will always enjoy sharing a laugh with my clients.”

During the past year, Bray sold a condo at The Ritz to the daughter of a past client, an achievement that he calls his biggest accomplishment of 2017 – not because of the price but because of what it represents. “Trust is the most important part of being a Realtor,” he says. “When parents refer you to their children, that is the greatest honor.”

This year, Bray was also selected to work as the exclusive agent for a brand-new 40-unit development of luxury apartments. The position required him to create a marketing strategy that would promote the building based on a vision while it was under construction rather than showing the finished product. It’s a role that requires confidence and practice, and Bray has plenty of both. “I am still learning, but I love this part of my job,” he says.

Having great partnerships in real estate has been critical to Bray’s success. “The developers of the project were excellent partners. Heidi actually came up with the name for the building, The Sunset Lofts, during a brainstorming session.”

Bray has received the Centurion Award for production every year since 2014, and was recently asked to be a trustee at Colby-Sawyer College, his alma mater. “It was a pinch-me moment in my life,” he says. He also became a state board member of the nonprofit Easterseals on top of his board membership with the nonprofit Boredom Busters.

Bray is a self-described basketball fanatic: During his free time, he plays competitively and loves the Celtics.
