Alexandra Melignano
Sales Associate
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate – Weston

Alexandra Melignano is a sales associate with the top-producing luxury real estate team at Coldwell Banker’s Weston office and works with buyers and sellers within the luxury market both in Weston and the surrounding suburbs. Ali’s approach to real estate is “do or die”—she prioritizes her clients above all else and will drop everything in order to be by their side when they need her help. As a Weston native, Melignano prides herself in being able to speak from personal experience about the town’s merits and some of the nuances of the market which has served as a great edge for her.

Melignano has been working under her mentor, Rosemary McCready, who was recently rated as one of Coldwell Banker’s Top 30 Agents in New England. Under McCready’s tutelage, Melignano has been able to capitalize on the opportunity of getting hands-on sales experience and unprecedented training in one of the country’s highest-grossing markets. Her experience alongside McCready has provided a platform of exposure and access to a great network.

Melignano has worked with McCready on the sale of former Celtics star Rajon Rondo’s home, as well as the purchase of Boston Celtic newcomer Al Horford’s house in 2016. Things really came to fruition for Ali this past year when she and McCready represented a seller for a $5.6 million transaction which ended up being the highest grossing sale in Weston in 2017.

Melignano’s experience with Rosemary has served as a catalyst for her while allowing her to cultivate some of the most valuable skills required to succeed in the industry. She takes pride in her ability to balance professionalism with relatability and always makes a concerted effort to focus her attention on the human element of every deal rather than seeing it purely as a business transaction. “When people feel that you are able to relate to their wants and needs, there is a level of trust that is built which is far more gratifying than collecting a commission,” she says.

During the past year, Melignano was able to harness the power of social media to expand her reach, gaining 20,000 Instagram followers and acting as the driving force behind her team’s personal branding. “The industry has transitioned from using conventional ways of marketing a home to placing a far greater premium on having exceptional digital content at your disposal. When I first started working with Rosemary, I felt like there was a huge opportunity for us to elevate our platform and reach on social media by incorporating some cutting-edge technology in our marketing scheme. Whether it’s using a 3D virtual tour from Matterport or drone videos and photography, we are always looking for tasteful ways to use new technology to highlight some of the incredible features of our listings while putting them directly in front of a daily follower or prospective buyer.”
