Respect, transparency, kindness and love are the four pillars of New England Realtor Viviane Alvarenga’s business. A picture of the American dream, she moved to Boston from Brazil at the age of 21 and has since developed a completely referral-based business of clientele she sees as close friends.

Prior to working as a Realtor, Alvarenga served as a personal banker for Bank of America where she was consistently No. 1 in sales at her branch. The prospect of a real estate career came when a client suggested she’d be a perfect fit for the industry.

Alvarenga says that while she now runs her own real estate business, she’s simply doing what she’s been doing her entire life: serving people with passion. “I wasn’t just selling real estate. I was changing people’s lives forever,” she says. 

A multilingual agent, Alvarenga and her husband and partner, Ademar Vierira, assist clients in English, Spanish and Portuguese. They’ve learned to manage client expectations by being completely honest at every turn. “I learned how to guide my clients, say ‘no’ when I have to, and bring them to the reality of the investment they are planning,” Alvarenga says. “They get lost sometimes. My job is to guide them on a good path.”

Alvarenga has been ranked as one of the top producers at Century 21 New England for four years straight. While her achievements in real estate have yielded financial success for her and her family of five, she says money will never be her main focus: “I believe the main reason to be financially successful in this life is to share with those who didn’t find the same path you did.”
