A Massachusetts native, Bea Murphy, a Realtor for Lamacchia Realty, grew up in the South Shore and has developed a wide and diverse network in the Boston area. Following burnout from a 13-year career in the corporate world, Murphy dove headfirst into real estate and hasn’t looked back since. “I was commuting into Boston every day and leaving two small kids behind at home,” she says, “It was the flexibility of real estate to be there for my kids that drove my decision, and my only regret is that I didn’t start sooner.”

In her previous role of retail buying, Murphy learned to be a master negotiator with vendors and became incredibly proactive. “I have a game plan for everything and always review my numbers,” she says. “I’ve developed the skills needed to take my real estate career to the next level.”

Always making time for her clients, Murphy says her strengths are her dedicated work ethic and being down to earth with her clients, who repeatedly say she feels like a friend who always prioritizes them. “I make sure to walk my clients through the entire transaction process from beginning to end,” she says. “I want them to know that their questions can be answered at any time.” This commitment has earned Murphy plenty of recognition, including the 2022 South Shore Realtor Spirit Award, membership in the Presidents Club since 2021, and an appearance on “House Hunters.”

Outside of the office, Murphy loves spending time with her kids and being present as a mom, wife and friend as much as possible. “Having a healthy life balance is a major win for me,” she says. “It’s very hard to manage all the moving pieces unless you have the right support system, which I do.”
