Bridget Fortunate, Real Estate Professional

Elevated Boston

Real estate was a natural transition for Bridget Fortunate. The co-founder of a luxury vacation rental agency, she turned those formative years of relationship building, new construction experience and a keen eye for design into a lucrative career, achieving more than $25 million in sales in 2022.

Fortunate laid the groundwork to become an expert agent in Boston. A native Midwesterner, she traversed the area on foot, learned its hidden gems and even struck up conversations with Bostonians. “Each pocket of Boston is so unique that I get a sense of where buyers would love to live based on their personalities,” she says. Equally endearing and strategic, she quips, “Don’t get me wrong, when it’s time to negotiate, I am a bulldog.” Fortunate is thankful for what she describes as a boutique work group that always cooperates to help each other grow, and she relishes in her company’s team culture as a key support system to her success.

With a multi-layered approach, Fortunate utilizes her interpersonal skills to connect with clients one-on-one, and her experiential vantage point to connect with them as a subject matter expert. This has proven to be pivotal with new construction clients. Her ability to ask the right questions about materials, finishes and layouts puts her clients at ease. She also boasts extensive experience in design and staging, lending her creative abilities to the interior decoration of a Boston high rise. “My eye becomes helpful in a lot of situations because buyers don’t always have the vision of what something can be,” she says.

Realizing her home-buying dream, Fortunate recently bought and designed her own home. She’s now keeping an eye out for a property-flipping project. She also enjoys walking the ponds and hiking in north Medford with her sheepadoodle, Miko.
