What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Administration in an elementary school.

Where did you grow up? Iowa then Ohio.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a nurse until my brother needed stitches, then I realized I was not cut out for that profession.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Cook, walk, run

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Winston Churchill. He was such an interesting man.

What is Boston’s best-kept secret? The fall in Boston – it is romantic and beautiful.

What do you love most about the industry? Helping people

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I am determined to help my clients and will help them to achieve their goals.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? When an offer is not accepted.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Networking – be yourself

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My children. They are grown, happy adults who are family-oriented with integrity and a great work ethic.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Beacon Hill properties

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? Having an open house and walking in on someone in the bathroom while showing the property.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you? That I can’t swim.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why? I love to travel so that is hard to say.
