by Liz Hughes

Lisa Nickerson has been named a GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum Woman of Influence 2022.

Nickerson, who is the CEO and founder of Boston-based PR firm Nickerson, was recognized as a leader in the marketing and communications category, at the event held in July in Park City, Utah.

“Lisa Nickerson is respected and trusted within the industry and has been relentless in the elevation of her client-partners and the pursuit of new forward-thinking brands,” said Michael Beckerman, CEO CREtech and CREtech Climate. “It’s no surprise to her colleagues that she would capture such a prestigious award, and we are honored that one of our own in the proptech industry has been included on a list with some of the most talented women in the real estate industry.”

According to a press release, the selection process examines “a stringent set of criteria, identifying candidates based on career achievements, community outreach and mentorship within the industry. The candidates come from diverse backgrounds with a wide array of specialties and have all made a distinctive mark in commercial real estate.”

Nickerson is also the chief marketing officer and chief revenue officer of Infinityy, an online platform “transforming real estate decision making into a collaborative online experience.”

In 2018 she was recognized by Bisnow as a “Boston Power Woman” and was awarded the 2016 PRISM for Marketing Professional of the Year.

Since 2006 Nickerson has been a board member and development chair of Housing Families Inc. She’s been a member of the Joshua Frase Foundation since 1997, having served as both a board member and vice president. In partnership with her daughter, Catherine McGonagle, Nickerson is also the co-founder and advisor of STEMS Flower Farm LLC, a flower-farming venture and content producer teaching high school and college students the power of entrepreneurship.
