What was your first job in the realty industry? Sales Associate at Coldwell Banker in Wellesley
Where did you grow up? Mostly in Massachusetts. We moved from Belmont, MA to Chicago when I was 6 years old, then to Hingham, MA when I was 8, so most of my growing up was on the South Shore.
Growing up, what did you want to be? Lots of things, ranging from a dental hygienist to a lawyer! I just knew it needed to involve interacting with lots of people! I ended up working in financial services for 20 years, prior to my career in real estate.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Visit with friends or walk my dog.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Bruce Springsteen. I grew up with his music, went to concerts, and would love to hear what it’s like to be a real rock star!
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Anywhere there are good friends and laughter. I love being near the ocean, so the beach is always a fun place.
What do you love most about the industry? Meeting new people and learning something new from every transaction.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I work very hard to provide outstanding service for every client. I think that is the best way to distinguish myself.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Buying or selling a home can be a very emotional experience for some people, so I try to help keep everyone focused on the desired outcome, rather than the little bumps along the way!
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I have met clients at open houses, through friends, at school events. Past clients are also a wonderful source of referrals.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? I think that raising my son and watching him grow into a kind, respectful young man has been my proudest accomplishment.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I just finished reading “The Nest,” which is a novel about a family’s dynamic as they wait for an inheritance that may never come. Wonderful writing about how money affects people.
What is your favorite restaurant? I love Agostino’s in Natick Center. Local Italian food that my family enjoys, too. Down to earth atmosphere and nice people.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? I love many of the buildings in the Back Bay: Trinity Church, Copley Plaza Hotel, and the Mapparium at The Mary Baker Eddy Library are some favorites.
What kind of car do you drive? Lexus RX 350
Smartphone or paper? Smartphone when possible. (I love Dotloop!)
What is your favorite city after Boston? New York City (but not their sports teams!). The energy is awesome!
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Be open to new ideas and pay attention to the details.

Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? I follow mostly sports teams: local pro teams and my son’s college basketball team.
