Growing up, what did you want to be? A teacher

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Work out or read a good book.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Robert De Niro. He is a very versatile actor, rarely if ever gets bad press, and seems to embrace aging rather than being in denial.

What do you love most about the industry? I love all the different people I get to meet and help reach whatever goals they have in terms of selling and/or buying real estate.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? Although I have embraced technology, I still believe in picking up the telephone and speaking personally to both potential clients and current clients. I also accompany showings at the majority of my listings and rarely, if ever, use lockboxes.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? One of the most difficult aspects of my job is being honest with both buyers and sellers when they don’t like what they hear. It is important to be mindful of their feelings, but still tell the truth and back up what you say with verifiable data.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Community events, local school events, lender events where buyers and sellers as well as realtors are welcome

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest personal accomplishment has been raising my two children and seeing what successful, happy and generous adults they have become. My greatest real estate related accomplishment is every time a satisfied seller or buyer closes on their property.
