My Style: Sam Reifman-Packett, Realtor, Bushari Real Estate, Boston

by Boston Agent

Sam-Reifman

Sam Reifman-Packett is a Realtor with Bushari Real Estate in Boston

Number of years in real estate: Five years

Describe your look: I’ve never been good at semi-casual, so you’ll either see me attempting my best Ryan Gosling red-carpet look with a suit and skinny tie, or you’ll get my “I work from home” sweatpants snd hoodie. I haven’t mastered the in-between.

What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Baggy, unfitted suits. This isn’t the 1920s anymore.

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? In all honesty? My sweatpants. They’re by far the most comfortable thing I’ve ever owned. If you’re laughing at that, you clearly don’t own an amazing pair of sweatpants…trust me.

What do you consider a must-have accessory? Sunglasses. More important than a tie, a watch or a pocket square.

Where are your favorite places to shop? I do not shop much, but when I do, it’s not that exciting. I’m pretty cheap when it comes to shopping with the exception of a couple suits. I stick to Aldo for my shoes and Express for my shirts; my girlfriend is going to hate that I’m admitting that.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? My Ray Ban’s. I do not go anywhere without them.

What is in your bag/briefcase? I’m not a big fan of carrying around a bag with me, but it holds a bunch of different forms and paperwork, pens, and usually my to-do list for the day.

My closet is full of…a diverse collection of dress socks, and about 15 of the exact same Target t-shirt in almost every color. Hey, when you got something that works….

What is your style advice for other people in the industry? A tailored suit will make you feel like a boss and give you the confidence you need to close a deal. Also, do not assume your outfit matches. Get fashion advice from a friend or partner. In my case: my girlfriend.

Joseph A. Bank slim-fitted suit; Aldo dress shoes; Express shirt
