In the first year of opening his brokerage as Fenway Property Advisors, Matthew Foley increased his year-over-year gross volume by 20%. He credits his success to his ability to navigate all ends of a transaction. “My team’s experience ranges from representing first-time homebuyers and investment owners to owning a property management company and dealing with HOA issues and high leasing volume,” he explains. “We understand what it takes to work out a full ecosystem from all facets of real estate.”
With 17 years of industry experience, Foley followed in his father’s footsteps, who worked in real estate on Newbury Street. “I was always drawn to the aspect of sales and being in control of my own destiny, as well as building relationships,” he shares. “I like the variety of this career compared to a corporate ladder environment.” Managing a referral-based business with many repeat clients, he and his team specialize in Boston condominium sales, multifamily properties, investment properties and first-time homebuyers.
A member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors, Foley is known as an enthusiastic, genuine person who provides honest feedback to his clients. “I have many friends and connections in this business,” he says. “Those relationships often lead to certain opportunities, especially in an off-market capacity.”
An avid golfer, Foley plays local courses and travels throughout New England and beyond for the best golf experiences. He enjoys exploring the New England area and visiting family on Long Island with his wife, Haley, and their two golden retrievers, Sunny and Comet. A drummer in his younger years, he enjoys attending concerts and going to Boston Bruins hockey games.
