Hailing from modest roots on the northern coast of Spain, Susana Murphy was raised with an emphasis on the strength of family and community. Immersed in a culture where a handshake holds significant value, Murphy founded ALANTE Real Estate with the idea of cultivating specialized departments in support of agents and clients, offering abundant resources at every step of the process.
A South Shore resident since 2001 and certified luxury home marketing specialist, Murphy has dedicated the last 18 years to serving a broad range of clientele. She embarked on her career in real estate following the closure of the company she was working for after the events of Sept. 11.
Well-versed in pioneering through adversity, she led her team to $72 million in sales productivity, rebuilt back-end company infrastructure and hired quality professionals across multiple other departments in 2022. She notes, “Our operations and marketing department (that support the sales team) are the best hires I’ve made in a long time, and our clients and agents are going to soar because of it.” Underscoring her own background in design, marketing and advertising, Murphy was honored with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing’s Leaders in Luxury Award for best property marketing video campaign.
Perfectly balancing straightforward communication with interpersonal prowess, Murphy provides necessary structure and serves as a compassionate confidante. When selling, she sets expectations with clients, assesses and prepares properties as needed, and creates individualized marketing that stands out as distinguishable aesthetically and by quality to the ALANTE Real Estate brand.
Murphy’s firm regularly hosts charitable events throughout the year to give back to the communities it serves. Her two daughters are her pride and joy, and she revels in quality time with family, travel and live music. To rejuvenate, she partakes in a good book or yoga.
