Johnny Hatem Jr., Realtor

Sarkis Team, Douglas Elliman

“Working with me is like shopping with a friend,” says Boston Realtor Johnny Hatem Jr. “We enjoy the process together.”

Hatem grew up on Cape Cod but returned to his home country of Lebanon for eight years while pursuing his college education. He moved to Boston just a few years ago, when he joined the Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. His experiences both on the Cape and in Greater Boston mean he’s perfectly suited to work with clients in both areas.

Prior to obtaining his real estate license, Hatem earned his Construction Supervisor License and worked as a general contractor. His father is a commercial developer and investor, so Hatem says real estate has always been in his DNA. Since he prefers the business of providing and selling a service, becoming a Realtor was a no-brainer.

Bilingual in English and Arabic, Hatem is a vital resource for the Arabic-speaking community in Boston. However, he says he has an innate ability to click with clients of all walks of life. “I try to use my ability of being a dual citizen to help serve my clients better,” he remarks.

Within the past year, Hatem listed one of the top five highest-priced listings in Massachusetts (113 Juggler Meadow in Leverett). The trophy property is a once-in-a-lifetime type of sale for which he’s honored to be the exclusive listing agent. Hatem also pre-sold seven units at The Parker, Boston’s newest downtown development, in 2022. Most recently, he was named the most improved member of the Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman.

In addition to his work in Boston, Hatem is licensed in Florida.
