Alexandra (Ali) Joyce, Realtor and Team Leader

William Raveis

Known for creating “bulletproof transactions,” Alexandra Joyce, better known as Ali, is a fierce advocate for her clients and works tirelessly to achieve their goals.

“It’s important to note that I come from a line of strong women,” Joyce says, adding that her great-great aunt left Lebanon in the middle of the night to escape an arranged marriage and immediately got to work establishing herself as a real estate investor in Boston. “I am proud that this is my legacy. As a child, I knew I wanted to own rental property.”

Prior to finding success in real estate, Joyce earned her degree in psychology at Holy Cross. Though she originally intended to get her PhD and become a clinician, she decided to embark on a career in finance to fund her childhood dream of owning rental property. Eventually, she felt it was time to focus all her efforts on real estate. She discovered that marrying her two very different skillsets—a degree in psychology and professional experience in finance—gave her an edge against her competition, evident in her clients’ praise and consistent track record.

Joyce had an extremely successful year, breaking her personal records for sales volume, listings and transactions, and earning the distinction of Boston Magazine Top Producer for the second year in a row. She was also recognized as one of the Top 20 Boston Real Estate Agents on Social Media by Property Spark in 2022. However, her proudest accomplishment of the past year was the birth of her son Cormac (and not just because she delivered him in 30 minutes). “It was so important to me to prove to myself that I could have both things—a successful business and a successful family life,” she says.

Joyce currently leads a team at William Raveis, without whom she says she never could have achieved the amount of success she has. In addition to her work in Boston, Greater Boston and the surrounding suburbs, she’s licensed in Rhode Island and is well-versed in the coastal markets there.
