Linda Barrett, Vice President

Douglas Elliman

In downtown Boston, Linda Barrett, vice president at Douglas Elliman, boasts more than 25 years of experience navigating a world of historic brownstones, new development, luxury high-rises and in-demand single-family dwellings. From the waterfront to Fenway, her background has been built on living in and knowing the downtown dynamic like an old friend.

“I’ve been a resident of Back Bay since 1976,” she shares. “I love the architecture and creativity in Boston, and so I’ve always found this entire area to be very exciting.” For more than two decades now, Barrett has been a go-to resource for buyers and sellers ranging from first-timers to C-level executives. In that time, she’s racked up records, including that of the most expensive single-family sale in Boston, a $14.2 million property back in 2013, as well as that of the most expensive condominium in the area, a gleaming $7.2 million beauty sold in 2014.

“My clients appreciate my consistent follow-through and passion for real estate,” reports Barrett. Clients describe her as truly dedicated, highly knowledgeable about current market conditions and tenacious. Armed with data and educational prowess, she commits to clients while also educating them about the market and how to find their perfect property. For this and many other reasons, Barrett has consistently ranked as an Elliman top producer since 2018. Last year, she smashed personal and professional records, selling $7 million of properties in one weekend.

“I have tremendous loyalty to my clients, and I leave no stone unturned,” she says of her key to success. As Barrett builds on this success, she’s equally invested in inspiring clients and fellow agents alike. “Newer agents seek me out for advice,” she notes, “and I’m always the first to congratulate them on their own successes.”
