As someone with a lot of energy who’s always ready for a challenge, Bea Murphy has ensured steady growth and developed a large network over her career in real estate since the spring of 2017. Raised and educated in the South Shore region of Massachusetts, Murphy spent 13 years in corporate retail before making the career switch to real estate. Her only regret is that she didn’t do it sooner.
Serving the Boston, Rhode Island and Massachusetts (Cape Cod and South Shore) markets, Murphy specializes in residential real estate. Though happy to have found her niche, she acknowledges that retail taught her valuable competencies. “Her negotiation skills were obvious,” clients have said. She strives to de-stress the process through communication — but she doesn’t accomplish this alone. “I have a dedicated assistant who supports me,” she shares. This help allows Murphy to treat every client as if they’re her only one.
Murphy’s go-getter enthusiasm persevered through the pandemic as she surpassed a business goal she set for herself. “Without drive to be the best version of myself, to continue to grow and change, I wouldn’t be where I am today,” she declares. Since 2019, Lamacchia Realty has recognized Murphy with numerous awards, such as highest sales volume and the most general growth. Not only is Murphy a full-time Realtor, but she’s also a member of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and involved in other organizations within her community.
A working mom, Murphy desired a work-life balance that allowed her to excel professionally while still having time and energy for her children. “I was driven to real estate because I could have the flexibility to be there for my kids, bring them to their sports, get them from the bus,” she explains. A lover of the outdoors and active community member, Murphy regularly participates in and is a successful fundraiser for the Pan Mass Challenge bike-a-thon, a cause very close to her heart.
