Genevieve Botelho became fascinated with real estate at a young age thanks to her grandfather, a top-producing Realtor in New Jersey. As an adult, she finds the fascination continuing to grow.
“The more business I do, the more I learn and the better I get at providing the best service and advice to help guide my clients on their real estate journeys,” says Botelho, a Realtor with Lamacchia Realty Inc.
While Botelho assists all categories of buyers and sellers primarily in Worcester and Middlesex counties, she’ll go anywhere in Massachusetts, especially for clients personally referred to her. One of 17 siblings, she often represents family and friends of family as well.
While working her way through college as a waitress and bartender, Botelho learned how to multitask and treat each client as if they were her only one, skills she regularly employs as a Realtor. She begins every relationship by listening to the client’s goals and devising a game plan to achieve them. She also establishes expectations early on so clients know exactly what to expect from her and the process, thereby eliminating surprises.
In 2019, Botelho sold 52 homes, while in 2020, that number was 56. “This year has taught me how important it is to learn to adapt to any situation thrown at you,” she says. “I love that my two teenage daughters, Chloe and Amelie, are able to see a strong, hardworking, independent woman getting things done day in and day out.”
Botelho serves on the membership committee of the Realtor Association of Central Massachusetts (RACM) and ranks 58 out of over 2,400 Realtors on 2020’S Real Trends list of top Massachusetts producers. She’s earned Lamacchia’s President’s Club ELITE status and has made the RACM’s emerald level for the third consecutive year.
