Brian Driscoll, Senior Loan Officer

Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.

As a chameleon in all situations, Brian Driscoll fell into the mortgage industry by happenstance. After graduating from college and moving to Seattle, he took a job at a call center selling home equity products for a regional bank. When he found he had a talent for sales, he stuck with it.

Today, Driscoll is a licensed mortgage originator with 24 years of experience who has earned a spot on Mortgage Executive Magazine’s list of the top 1% of mortgage originators in America, thanks to his impressive annual production. Based at the Danvers branch of Draper and Kramer Mortgage, he serves as a self-branded “mortgage planner” for homebuyers and homeowners who need financing and advice.

Driscoll enjoys working with all types of borrowers, no matter their situations or needs. “I love the rewards of working with first-time homebuyers and challenging cases, such as self-employed buyers with low credit scores,” he says. The reason for Driscoll’s versatility lies in the fact that he’s truly a mortgage planner. With a degree in economics from Tufts University, he has a vast understanding of all aspects of the mortgage market and loan process. All his clients receive education about their loan options and the financing steps, including information about credit, collateral and capacity.

Despite the unpredictable and competitive 2020 market, Driscoll was able to thrive during the past year, closing over $135 million in loans. He has maintained high customer satisfaction ratings and high service levels while further embracing technology to allow for greater mobility and flexibility during challenging times.

In the years ahead, Driscoll plans to continue to grow his team to increase production. He and his group also aim to partner with additional agents to serve even more individuals and families who need help with their home financing.
