In a challenging year, Lynne Morey, a premier global luxury agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, achieved several milestones. Of the company’s 3,700 agents throughout New England, Morey ranked No. 1 in sales units, made the list of the top 50 agents and earned the Society of Excellence designation for being in the top 1% of internationally recognized agents. She was also featured by the company last November in Boston Globe Magazine’s “Women & Power” issue as one of its “Shining Stars,” a powerful leader in real estate.
“I am an extreme people person and love to help others achieve their dreams,” says Morey. “I also love architecture and design, so real estate was a natural job for me.” She entered the industry 21 years ago after working at engineering firms in the city. Whether it’s reading plans, a skill she picked up at her previous jobs, or understanding the steps involved in developing a subdivision, something she learned about when her family developed land they owned, she draws upon all of it when assisting clients.
Morey represents first-time to luxury buyers and sellers, as well as downsizers and developers. She handles waterfront and historic properties, land development, new construction and condo conversions in the greater South Shore/Plymouth County region. Dedicated to delivering results beyond expectations, she is upbeat and always available to answer questions.
At this time, most of Morey’s clients are referrals. In the last several years, she has represented the projects of several developers, ranging from new construction to condo conversions in historic buildings to custom homes. “It’s so rewarding to see the transformation,” she says of updating treasured properties.
A member of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce, Massachusetts Association of Realtors and National Association of Professional Women, Morey enjoys playing golf, kayaking, traveling and entertaining.
