The late epicure Anthony Bourdain once said, “I think food, culture, people and landscape are all absolutely inseparable.” For Eric Rollo, founder, principal and senior vice president of sales at the Eric Rollo Real Estate Team, part of William Raveis Real Estate, that principle is part of how he fell in love with the Boston area.
“My wife and I are avid foodies,” says Rollo, who frequents new restaurants around Boston and specializes in downtown and Greater Boston. “That helps us meet the people and explore the areas that truly make a community.” After 16 years in real estate, Rollo is known for an innovative and authentic approach to customer service, working for clients across first-time, luxury and investment real estate. “Most clients feel like they are the only ones I am working with — which, of course, they’re not, but that feeling is a good thing!”
A Certified Residential Specialist, Rollo has a background in higher education and a master’s degree in counseling, which inform his unique approach and forthright communication style in serving clients. “We are as much marketers as we are counselors,” he says. Rollo’s counseling chops were a vital skill when COVID prompted him to bring his six-person team together and collaborate on a strategy that would instill buyers and sellers with confidence while keeping the team and clients safe.
“Because we led with an abundance of clarity, our clients really didn’t notice any hiccups in their process,” says Rollo. That approach in part is why Rollo and his team get the majority of clients from referrals and networking, with a boost from informative and engaging social media outreach.
“We pride ourselves on acting as our clients’ guides through the real estate cycle,” says Rollo. “We make the process approachable and fun.”
