Fond of working with numbers and intrigued by the fast pace of real estate, Jason Evans thought a career as a loan officer would be a perfect fit for him. Fourteen years later, he still enjoys going to work every day. “I love solving a problem and figuring out a way to get someone financing on a difficult scenario,” he says.
President of the Foxboro chapter of Business Networking International, Evans has ranked among the Scotsman Guide’s Top Loan Originators since 2010 and was named a Hometown Weekly Top Loan Officer in 2017 and 2018. In each of the last two years, he has helped more than 200 families close on homes.
Evans assists first-time, move-up and move-down buyers, as well as veterans and investors who own multiple properties. He takes a consultative approach, utilizing the world-class technology available at Guaranteed Rate to close transactions faster and with less documentation. “It allows everyone involved to be on the same page every step of the way, and to have confidence that we are in control of the process and moving toward an on-schedule closing,” Evans explains.
He adds value to the client experience by simply listening and being available at any time of the day. Evans also teaches clients about the process so they understand their loan options and provides post-closing customer service so they never feel left behind.
“Foreseeing issues and handling them before it creates a delay is crucial,” he says. “I’ve built a reputation on being able to handle any obstacles that come up during the process and still close on time.”
A volunteer with the Foxboro Rotary Club, Evans supports both the local and international community. Motivated to work hard to give his wife and their two young children a good life, he treasures time with family.
