Rob Reutzel caught the real estate bug early, and after numerous years working as a biotech patent litigation attorney at a major IP firm in Boston, he became a broker and The Solutions Group leader at AA Premier Properties. “Running my own business is awesome and the most rewarding thing I have ever done!” he says, adding that along with his J.D. he also has a Ph.D. in biochemistry.

The Solutions Group specializes in short sales and distressed properties. The team works closely with in-house short sale negotiators and many of the group’s seller clients have properties that require extensive rehab where traditional financing is impossible. “We have a large network of investor buyers that we work with, and also buy many properties ourselves,” he explains. “We use a unique framework where we will present the seller with several options, including a cash offer and retail listing.”

Working within Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk counties as well as in Southern New Hampshire, Reutzel’s team helps homeowners quickly sell their distressed properties while also assisting them in finding a new place to settle down. This year, Reutzel and his team scaled up the business, increasing their client base to include thousands of distressed sellers.

Reutzel is a member of the New England Real Estate Investors Association. He is a devoted husband and father and thanks to establishing a greater work-life balance, he’s been able to spend more time with his loved ones.
