Developer United Group held a grand opening at The Arbella at Bramble Hill, Worcester’s newest 55-plus community. The 123-unit development sits on 17 acres of land along Salisbury Street, part of the historic Higgins Estate.

Amenities offered at The Arbella target the active-adult demographic and include a golf simulator, yoga studio, indoor pool, multimedia theatre, pickle ball and bocce courts, community garden and walking trails.

“Today’s a really exciting day because we’re not just celebrating the completion of a project but we’re celebrating the beginning of a new chapter for this community and for our organization,” United Group’s COO Michael DiGiacomo said in a press release. “This is United Group’s first development project in the area, and it has truly been amazing to see The Arbella come to life.”

Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty added, “We talk a lot about making Worcester a place where people can go to school, build their careers and raise a family. But just as important is making sure that Worcester is a place where you can stay, thrive and age in the community you grew up in. That’s why communities like The Arbella at Bramble Hill matter.”
