Melvin A. Vieira Jr. has three decades of real estate experience and as head of The Vieira Group of RE/MAX Destiny, he helps sellers, luxury and first-time buyers, investors, and builders navigate the market in and around the Boston area. Since joining the RE/MAX team in 2008, Vieira has earned a 100% Club award every year since 2009 and has most recently received the Community Leadership Award and entry into the Hall of Fame. Vieira has been quoted and featured in the Boston Globe, Patriot Ledger, Bay State Banner, Worchester Business Journal, Bay State Realtor Magazine, Top Agent Magazine Massachusetts Edition & RE/MAX Housing Market Outlook & Forecast.

Already an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and New Home Specialist, Vieira will soon be able to add Certified International Specialist to his list of designations. In addition to his work with RE/MAX, Vieira teaches seminars for first-time homebuyers through City of Boston (Boston Home Center), Massachusetts Housing Alliance and other local agencies. Vieira is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and serves on the Governance Committee for both associations. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Asian Real Estate Association of America and African American Real Estate Professionals.

“I get it done no matter what,” he says, explaining that after experiencing personal family tragedy in the past year, he had to learn how to divide his time equally between his home life and his work, ultimately becoming a better family member and agent because of it. “I can say that I grew more than I ever had in my past 30 years in real estate,” he says.

When he’s not working, Vieira enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, skiing, sailing, hiking and volunteering. “I love helping others,” he says.
