Andrew McKinney, an associate broker with Buyers Brokers Only, LLC, is an exclusive buyer agent with a decade of real estate experience in the Boston area. Prior to entering the real estate industry, McKinney spent seven years working as a lawyer in civil litigation, representing insurance companies and self-insured companies in general liability matters. During that time, he developed an interest in real estate, initially offering legal representation to buyers and sellers but soon transitioned to doing broker work. “I wanted to get involved earlier in the process by showing homes and providing guidance from the very beginning of the process,” he explains. “Because I am a licensed attorney, my clients feel they are getting the highest level of representation through their buying process by a trained advocate with advanced negotiating skills. They value my background as a lawyer with an MBA.”
